My love for houses started in childhood; growing up in a 600 year old house with a valley garden - it’s hard to not love where you live. With the Helford River as my playground, I enjoyed spending time in other people’s homes and seeing how they decorated, how they used their spaces etc and unbeknownst to me, I absorbed little ideas and processes that I have taken into adulthood.

I started work as a copywriter for a large holiday-letting company, visiting holiday-lets across the county and describing their attributes and the locality. I have subsequently worked as an estate agent and buying agent for international companies, and for almost a decade, along side a private landlord, refurbishing and letting properties. 

As such I am au fait with the legal requirements for residential letting, holiday-letting as well as in management of renovations etc. I have made many strong local connections to tradesmen, contractors, architects, engineers; all the people needed to bring an idea to life.
